THE HENTENNA
OK here's the dimensions as requested by G6OHM for the Hentenna in glorious
technicolour ascii ;-)
I've never used one, but according to my info the antenna radiates like a
HORIZONTAL dipole with the usual figure of eight pattern _but_ is in fact
vertically polarised.
Both lobes have 3.1db gain over a dipole.

O is of course the feedpoint !
50Mhz dimensions:
A=100cm
B=50cm
C=60cm
D=240cm
70Mhz dimensions:
A=71.3cm
B=35.65cm
C=42.7cm
D=171cm
145Mhz dimensions:
A=34cm
B=17cm
C=20.7cm
D=83cm
433Mhz dimensions:
A=11.5cm
B=5.75cm
C=7cm
D=27.7cm
1296Mhz dimensions:
A=38mm
B=19mm
C=23mm
D=93mm
Using MMANA simulation shows that the 23cms version has a max VSWR of 1.3:1
from 1292Mhz - 1230Mhz and a flat gain response across the whole range
(3db).
Hope this helps.
