Hello Andy,

I wonder if manufacturers of receivers and transceivers did build in such a
circuit with extra antennaconnector in their equipment. Advantage is that in
transceivers the relais of the circuit is not needed because it is only part
of the receiving section.

But the circuit is develloped around 1990 so it is to be expected that
curcuitdiagrams with other components did replace this.

And the wanted signal as less as possible. A good place seems to me as much
downstairs as possible and close to the electricitynetwork of the building
because the electricitynetwork is very noisy with all that equipment connected
to it.

How much is the antennuation of the wanted signal ? Should be less of course
as the antennuation of the noise.

And of course a good signal to noise ratio is more important than a high
value of the signalstrength.
