This circuit was developed by G4WMX and the late GW3DIX.
It was later marketed by SEM in the Isle of Man as the QRM Eliminator.
(It's own was a regular on the net we used to take part in).
[USEAGE]
You need to have a "noise" antenna.
The best noise antenna is an antenna which receives the interfering signal
the strongest!
There are 3 controls, BALANCE,PHASE 1 and PHASE 2.
The idea is that you try to keep the balance control as far over to the
main trx antenna as possible whilst using the 2 phase controls to steer
the QRM 180ø degrees out of phase to cancel itself out and leaving the
wanted signal alone.
[DOES IT WORK?]
YES!
ABSOLUTLY!
BRILLIANT!
I have a homebrew version here.
It is TOTALLY possible to eliminate an S9+60DB signal and listen to an
S4 signal with complete ease.
It's all a case of undertstanding the 3 simple controls. If you don't
then you just attenuate the wanted signal !
It works perfectly on QRM, jammers etc just so long as both signals
retain their phase relationship.
The file is sent as 8 parts of 7plus.
7 parts are approx 7kb with part 8 as 6kb.
