Hi Peter and readers,

Once again, the battery has nothing to do with electrical damage done by 
welding on a vehicle. It's the idiot welder's fault entirely! I have 
never seen a mechanic worth his salt using an arc welder, they use GAS. 
The reason should be obvious, no need to go into "circulating currents", 
mechanics use gas and that's that.

Now before there's any rebuttal, we're talking about wiring here. Sure, I 
have seen plenty of custom cars and bikes being built and in each and 
every case a plasma welder is used BEFORE the wiring goes in.
