Hi Gervais,

I think you may be just a bit confused. The GE Masr 2 is the repeater 
while the courtesy tone ("roger beep" is a CB term) is a function of the 
controller. If you have the manual for it or at least tell us what kind 
you are using you'll have no problem, somebody could easily help you out 
with it.

BTW, love the GE Mastr 2, I have a 100W VHF low band mobile unit retuned 
for 6M and that thing not only has GREAT audio but can transmit all day 
barely getting warm. I can just imagine one converted for repeater use, 
must sound great and the RX sensitivity is superb.
