Hi Henry and readers,
Last things first, I just love Frank Zappa for his musical commentaries,
he was a master of Progressive Jazz. Nah, very little got on the radio,
the genre is so far removed from mainstream they don't know what to make
of it. Yes, "discorporate means to leave your body". (Absolutely Free) We
still have Plastic People, American Womanhood is still "phoney on top,
phony underneath, you lay in bed and grit your teeth", Madge is still one
of those and Harry is still a beast. (;->) Hmmmmm, no matter how many
times I ran that song through my digital editor I couldn't untangle the
part where Frank did a hatchet job on the tape.
Sorry I confued the Gnostics with the Illuminati, I know very little
about the latter. Then too they're a secret society so it stands to
reason very little is known about them while thier influence throughout
the ages is profound. Then too it's difficult to say what they had to do
with the European Rennisanse (spelling?) or the so called American one of
the 1960s. Both were times of turmoil heavily laden with politics and we
all know how THAT influences "the truth". Sorry I can't say much about
it, much is known about the on stage performance but little to nothing
about what goes on behind the scenes.
Yes, both religion and politics want to keep the status quo and condemn
enlightenment. Frankly I don't see why since change is inevitable
whenever new facts come to light. They fear change, view it as a threat
to thier power and influence rather than accepting and integrating it
into the structure of things. If anything this resistance and
condemnation undermines thier position, they discredit themselves. When
credance is lost, power and influence goes with it, few willingly follow
liars, only fools owe blind allegance.
Hmmmmm, the Church is worried about loosing it's followers, they're
leaving in droves. Few people vote these days, no point in it since there
is nothing worthwhile on the agenda. Credibility is gone, the turning
away has begun. Where will it all lead? Only time will tell but the
future doesn't look good.
