Hi Dick and readers,
I have full 8 bits on the TNC and ASCII drawings display properly, still
G8MNY's drawings are difficult to interperate. This is simply because
ASCII drawings have severe limitations, while the characters may display
properly they don't always give an accurate represention in a schematic.
Oh, I never noticed any "oddball" characters, only the standard text set,
somehow I think that John knows that controls and alternates just don't
fly properly. (;->)
Now perhaps if Alan G8FUM would give an accurate description of his
problem we wouldn't have to speculate, taking pot-shots in the dark.
Then too I have suggested a .jpg image in 7+ but somehow nobody is
listening. What's up with packet and it's seemingly inherent inability to
communicate?
Hmmmm, just keep up the good work John, we'll manage to struggle through
somehow. (;->)
