This is an interesting approach. I have also written such software,
in Java/JSP/SQL. It has been working well on LA3T for several months
now. I currently use file forwarding to/from a FBB BBS but the idea is to
make radio interfaces (radio forwarding) as well. And it is my intention
to release the source code (it is mostly a matter of proper documentation
and packaging).
