I note that G8MNY has put out his Actual Antenna SWR bulletin again. If you
like look up tables and doing maths then I suppose you will find it useful.
I prefer to have the computer do the maths. I don't have internet access so
can't get the programmes mentioned in the bulletin.

So I have added a co-ax cable loss calculator for 16 cable types to the
programme that I put out in December 2003. You can enter input frequency,
length and VSWR for the cable of choice. Matched loss, total loss and VSWR
at the antenna end of the cable are calculated. It runs in DOS and is 11936
bytes long. Comes in two 7plus parts of 5 kb each.

My policy is not to clog up the BBSs with 7plus files that some find
objectionable or others, such as KB2VXA, can't decode because their BBSs
can't handle 8 bit mail. So if you would like to have my programme then
send me a SP packet message.
