Hello every body,

I have a question about the use of a ferrit rod for reception on
the broadcast FM bands.
They use that still for reception on LW and MW.

Why is that stil not used in portable's it is today possible to have
ferrits that will work wel on 100 Mhz i thought.

Okay you can recieve FM broadcast with a simple verical whipe but
i think that a ferrit rod could be smaller and also vertical polarised.

So who knows more about this topic.
