Hello and thanks for reading this Packet.

This is sent via a borrowed PK88 as my one has gone U/S. My problem is the
Z8530a, RS232 port chip, IC12, on the PK88 schematic.

I am trying to source a couple of Z8530a chips for my PK88. One to replace
one as a spare.

This type, Z8530a, is specific as it works at 6MHz. Others of the same
number, but different designator, work at different speeds and are not
compatable, so I am told. If you have had any experience with other
compatable chips in the PK88, I would like to hear your story.

I have found only one place on the net, but I have to order in 20 or 50
lots. Too many.

Does anyone have a few in their box that are spare or know of a source via
the net, where I can order 2 - 5 units???

Thanks again, Look forward to your reply,

Cheers and 73 from Alan (Al) Connew
