The next thing those home owners will do is going to court and demand those
power lines to be shut down because of health reasons!
(It actually happened here - but I think they lost.)

Strange fact: The nuclear radiation level is higher around carbon burning
power stations. This is due to the high emmission of radioactive
C14-isotopes, that is found in every plant (dead or alive) in a low
percentage.

Not necessarily. There are a lot of cartoons that you would better not let
your children watch. Japanese mangas are for grown-ups only. So is "The
Simpsons". It is very social-critic, and way above the level of kids.
