I have had many colours of car and always thought the lighter colours
and white in particular were cooler in hot weather they certainly don't
show scratches as much, modern paint scratches for fun cant understand
how they get away with it, they tell us it's more friendly to the environment
but is probably just cheaper.

I remember readied many years back that if all else was equal a red car
would be very slightly faster than any other a scientific reason was
given but cant remember what it was "it may have been to do with the
wavelength of red light" or it could have been total nonsense.
