Hi Jeff and chip lovers,
How this got switched around from a discussion of an antenna to one on
chips I don't know, but I'll have a go. (;->)
Pringles are the most vile imitation chips fried in imitation fat I have
ever encountered! They are pressed from mashed potatoes mixed with a
binder (UGH!) and fried in Olestra, a fake animal fat that some people
like myself have a violent bowel response to. BTW, the word "violent" is
a gross understatement considering what happened after eating a bun made
with that vile crud. Chips? I think not! REAL chips are sliced potatoes
fried in vegitable oil and salted, no adverse reaction and tasty too.
Keep the fake crud in the can where it belongs, certainly not in the
stomach where God knows what will happen even if you're not upset by
being launched into orbit from a sitting position.
Now as for the can being used as an antenna, I would think that being
made out of cardboard it is for indoor use only. I would much rather
fabricate one from an aluminium tube which is far more weather resistant.
Maybe that's why I have thus far made no comments in that regard. (;->)
