Snap. I started slicng thin "crisps" off potatoes when I was about 14 some 40
odd years ago during the years I was learning to fend for myself in the
kitchen. Small visitors were an excuse to get the slicer out as they were very
popular and all gone in minutes. Certainly cheaper than shop bought ones, and
just as nice (Though not the same as those Smiths). Fresh off the stocks, with
a tad vinegar and salt, absolutely delicious. Now where did that peeler go?
