?????

I have just read a bulletin from Andy GM7HUD (yes, I do read his
bulletins) in which he provided some useful information and advice to
those interested in firing up fluorescent lamps.

However, he wrote, in part;
__________

" It will never be as efficient as the high frequency switching inverters
but if you want a proper sinewave, then it's a good starting point. The
design is for American 60Hz supplies, but again, it SHOULD BE BEYOND the
skill of an average ham to change the frequency selection components if
you want a 50Hz output. " (EMPHASIS ADDED.)
__________

Is this another "wind up" or simply a case of "spot the deliberate
mistake." (???)

Regards,

Ian
