OK People,

I have just modified my first "Galaxy MDS antenna for my upcoming
experiments with Wireless lan technology at 2.4 GHz.

The mod, although nothing fantastic, is a Bazoka match for the dish feed.

The antenna was recovered from an ex-subscribers roof, all I did was ask
if they wanted it and the answer was NO, please take it. I ended up with
2, an 18dbi and a 25dbi.

The internet is full of information to do with modifying "conifer" style
antennas.

Look at the following link for some info.......and further links...

http://martybugs.net/wireless/conifermods.cgi

That was the article that I modded my dish on.

Best of luck and why not give 802.11b a go........

Regards

Mark
