Hi All

Hartmut DL1YDD asked

"do you really think that simply using a WLAN system and putting
amateur radio contents onto it is a technical topic worth to discuss
for the amateur radio community?"

Yes Hartmut, I think it's a technical subject worth discussion over packet
radio. That's not to say that it is actually something I would DO per se
but it seems to me the kind of technical discussion Amateurs would engage
in and as to your second point..

Yes I am aware of the huge problems caused by noise from 2.4ghz systems to
Sat operations (which is why I wouldn't do it) but I doubt if all amateurs
would know yet but they will after reading Mark's bull and your reply
won't they?

Yet another reason to say "YES, this is a technical topic we SHOULD
discuss over A.R., that way people learn these things".

Just because we talk about it doesn't mean we have to go ahead and DO it.
It's a discussion was my understanding, not a plan.

Yours in Amateur Radio
Ari Laver
