Would appreciate receiving info on the following :
To my knowledge Philips earlier had a range of Ferrite materials
designated FX-xxxx. However their current range of Ferrite materials has
different identifiers.
I do have a box of ferrite cylinders dia 3/4 inch x dia 1/4 inch x 1 inch
long , indentified as FX 2513.
I also have an RF multi-tap inductor on a 40 mm former wired with 16
windings of 2mm dia silver plated wire .
The inductor's inductance is increased by a ferrite core with 3
additional identical blocks of ferrite clamped together ; the ferrite
identified by FX 1419DK1.
Although I have some idea about the usefulness of these ferrite
components, for RF applications by using the MFJ-259 antenna analyser ,
more specific info would be much appreciated.
Perhaps someone reading this bulletin can give me a hint where to find
this info.
TIA
