Hello All,
I've made a couple of traps for a WARC band 12m+17m dual band horizontal
antenna.
It turns out that my calculations are a bit out and checking each trap
with a F.D.O., they appear to be resonant at around 22.5 Mhz instead of
24.9.
Now, I know that I could reduce either the inductance or capacitance to
get them closer to the desired frequency, but to do this requires
stripping the whole assembly down.
My question is: do I really need to bother? Is the 24.9Mhz frequency the
trap should be tuned to, that critical?
