Subject: TCP-Group Digest V96 #255

We regularly use 512 and 1024 MTU's here in PA. 1024 works fine for 9600 
baud. The only caution is that some TNC's will not buffer 1024 byte 
packets in KISS mode. Specifically Kantronics. This may be fixed in later 
models but don't count on it. 

In those TNC's that are broken they do not respond when you exceed the 
limit, which is around 990-1000 bytes as I remember.
