John,
The PMap 6 upgrade is identical to the full version except for price.

Installing the PMap6 upgrade will not affect the PMap5 installation in any
way.

PMap 6 has new versions of Precision Mapping Streets, Traveler and mapping
data. The applications and data are placed in the PMap60 directory.

Does anyone know the baud rate of the LaCrosse 2310 weather station,
LaCrosse does not know or does not want to let everyone else know. It would
help a new user<me> if some one could share the TNC commands to set up a
weather station on APRS. Commands you already have and are proven would be a
big help. (I will edit for my call sign and location). Please reply off line
to keep traffic to a min.

Hi Everybody,
I am trying to set up a digi for APRS.
I understand the PIC-E can be reprogrammed with the RX_RLY12.asm software. I
cannot find it.
Can anybody help?
Maybe there is a another piece of software?
Thanks

Well, I'm going to stick my neck out and reply without looking at
SYMBOLS.TXT or the spec. From Phil's reply, I'm guessing that the
Stormwatch icon under discussion is also the Skywarn icon. (If not, maybe
the comment below still applies.)

I can see the Skywarn icon being used at the location of a voice repeater
where a Skywarn net is in progress, to let people know the net is up. I
think it would be useful to give this Object a name like "146_76" indicating
the frequency, or, if a longer name could be used "146_76_PL110_9". (That's
probably too long, but you get the idea.)

I agree that it should be supported by all authors as an icon at a point
(like other Objects). I also agree that watches and warnings should be
shown as filled areas with the type of watch or warning shown as an icon
(approximately) in the center of the area. In software on operating system
with hi-rez graphics and mice/other pointers, clicking on the icon should
highlight the entire area, possibly by drawing a darker (thicker) border
around it. The double-click action and right-click action, of course,

depend on the app. These opinions are based on a (very little)
participation in Skywarn and on (many years of) experience with
windows-based industrial controls and their operator interfaces.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go get the spec and see how badly I've
embarrassed myself....

Apologies if this duplicates opinions or decisions of others posted earlier
today, but I get last night's digest this evening.
