I did not find) and came across this...

Realize that without (GOOD) filters, a lot of inexpensive telescopes 
will see damaged lenses.  And decent telescopes will overheat.

Solar imaging is the source of a whole cottage industry in filter design.

Also:  Warning, Warning Will Robinson:  Don't think you can use x-ray 
film to adequately shield your eyes.  It's not sufficient to prevent 
damage to the lense and cornea.

Somewhere through the links that Bob gave I found the web site for this
    http://www.solarscope.org/
It is $70USD. Pricey for a piece of cardboard. Looks like it is 
basically a pinhole and a mirror.
