Iacquired a Standard C5000 a while ago - a nice looking dual bander - 2m
and 70cm. There are some peculiar features to this radio - typically it
only has a repeater offset function on 70cm and the frequency steps are in
10 or 20 KHz only.
I was told, after making some queries with Standard, who are now
Yaesu/Vertex, the this radio was made specifically for the Japanese
market, where 2m repeaters are not permitted and 10k frequency increments
are used.
I would like to get some info on this rig - specifically to convert to
12.5 or 25k steps and to be able to programme a 600k offset on 2m. Can
anyone assist?
