Hello Mike KC2GMM and others, that might be following this latest
NHL mush, which is all the more reason to end it.

Not only college hockey Mike, but other events, have increased attendance
as hockey fans, are discovering something they have been missing for
years, the so-called lower levels of hockey, that actually very good
except they aren't paid for playing in most cases.

The NHL has even now, as they play with the lives of players, and
afterwards, NOW a team and players can only be on the Stanely Cup
for "64" years. In fact a trip to the Hockey Hall of Fame, now
has another display case with the removed stripes of those years
passed 64.

The reason is the cup was getting too heavy, amongst other excuses,
and well I object to the NHL doing this. I hope they stay now
in North America. It cheapens the value of the cup. I know
over the years it was remodeled and all, but names and teams were
never removed, as is going to be the practice now.

Knowing some ex-NHL'ers and familys, I can only imagine how they
feel.

Thanks and keep that stick on the ice...
