The National Hockey League, Montreal Canadiens created history
last night by beating Washington Capitals 2 to 1.
It is history , as under the new post season playoff for the
"Stanley Cup" Montreal a 8th seeded team, beat a number 1
team by coming back from being 3 games down...to win 4 games
straight and thus qualify to move on in the quest for the cup.
Montreal Canadiens, are one of the original "6" teams before
expansion. They are historic and this is most likely what
spurred them onto this spree. The last team to comeback
from being down 3 games and facing elimination was the
Toronto Maple Leafs back in the original "6" team days.
Now the coparisons will be begin, comparing teams and whatever
but it is still history.
