Hello KC2GMM..and other puck chasers;
In the title, it reads "ice hockey another black eye" when it
should read the NHL ...another black eye. No matter what
happens with the NHL and the NHLPA ... hockey is still being
played and enjoyed in CANADA and the US.
TV viewers, are treated to other leagues, and local teams, and
arenas have better crowds.
The CBC, that carrys "Hockey Night in CANADA" has an interesting
slot now, with the strike or should I say lockout by the NHL,
they are offering viewers, from the vault, old games of note,
and this is old Stanley Cup games, which are great too.

"Slapshot" ...hmmm ... I enjoyed slapshot, but then I laughed
all the way thru it, agreeing with some parts, and wondering
about others.
But then at least they got to play hockey, and NOW...I think
the NHL is damaged, as well the image of the Stanley Cup.
