Hello Ice Hockey Fans ...my fellow puck chasers of the frozen pond;
Today, I was watching the last ten minutes of a minor game, when
there was a scuffle near the boards between the two benches. Didn't
seem like much, until I saw the coach and older adult pulling on
a player's stick which dragged him closer to the boards, where upon
that coach punched the player in the face. Yep....couldn't believe
it, and better seen in the news report later. Not to be outdone
the other coach got into it too, punching a player, and as for the
referees, they lost control of the game, but then as explained later
their age said it all..being the same age of the players.
There is now an investigation into this game, the two coaches are
out. And lets hope too something is done to bring in better referees.
