Hello Gamers!
Terry, VK5ATN, has sent a bulletin in reply to my question about 'Games'
on a separate hard drive. I also received an SP from G1FEJ, and a reply
has been sent. My thanks to both gentlemen, also from my son, Bill.
Terry seems to have the right temperament for a computer (with Windows)
user. One does need to be able to accept the logic of the illogical!
Computer games seem to be a test for the unwary. They want to auto install,
auto run, and auto invade the whole hard drive. They like to spread bits
around a drive and unless an 'uninstall' is used, and is successful, it's
like picking burrs out of a blanket. You always miss some until, too late.
Anyway, I wanted to be sure of not loosing the games already on the C drive
before using a separate D drive. We (He) now have another HD to fill!
Thanks once again to the VKNET/WW packet network. It works!
73. Dick. VK3ABK.
