Hi Steve and all,
"What a job to have !"
It didn't start out that way, the tech I replaced left a disaster, the shop
in complete disarray and a huge backlog of work. It took 4 months to catch
up, order the shop and build test stations to make life a little easier. Once
that was finished I worked Monday and half of Tuseday, the rest of the week
was occupied with a plant manager's pet job and looking busy. Being the
laziest person on the planet hating extra work, I set up my work area
wherever I worked for speed and efficiency. That had two results, my job was
so much easier and when it comes to making the boss happy it works better
than butt kissing.
So you see, it's not what a job to have, it's what a job to make.
