QUANGO= Quasi Non Governmental Organisation,i.e. an orgasnization which
pretends to be independent but is actually funded in part or wholly by the
government and often has a government minister on it's committee.
You're right, mate. Tie me Quangoroo down,sport. With some of them who
impose laws on the rest of us because they can without going through
parliamentary procedure,Green paper,hite Paper, Law.
I would like to tie some of them up and drop them in the Thames,
especially those who create laws restricting our freedom of speech.
Our latest government got rid of 200 QUAGOs and reduced the money they pay
to others, OUR money.
Here on packet we have an example. In the UK the Quango, OFCOM was
originally created to control such things as frequency
allocations,modes,powers etc; no problem, but has now changed to become a
censorship body which TV producers have to check with before making a
programme, showing a film or, even a comedy show where comedians have
their jokes vetted before being allowed to use them.
It is true, we the English, are now a race since the New Year, able to
demand racial equality and accuse people of being 'racist' if the annoy
us.
I don't know if the Welsh,Scots and Irish have the same rights but I
suppose they have.

I don't really believe that man originated just in Africa. It seems a far
more reasonable theory that life started at many different places all over
the globe. See my bit about the 'hairless' races from 'Los Indios, via
Native Americans to inuits and other forms of Eskimo, then down to
Polynesia.
I don't believe in the 'Big Bang' either, savants on TV programmes will
tell you when it was but I have never met anyone who can point at the sky
