Hello everyone participating in this theme of GAMES @WW and names
for other nationalities that some might find offended....
Yes Ian G0TEZ I have heard the Injun word too, but long time ago
and really not used all that much all these years, to seeing you
mentioned it in packet lately.
We have , here in Canada a Comedian called "Russel Peters" who
is of another nationality and since the first time I saw him
on TV , I have continued to watch him , go after every nationality
with no mercy, but at the sametime getting people to just lighten
up, which is needed.
No matter who is in the live audience, he points them out and goes
after them, and their nationality, and the whole ball of wax,
that anywhere else would start a riot, and result in legal action
etc...etc..etc.
If you get a chance to see him, via the Internet too ....give it a
try. I also watch an interview with him, on TV, and it was
very well done. I see where he points out that it seems "ok"
for those of that nationality to point fun at themselves and use
"pet" slanf names, BUT not and why not for others? ...but then
we know the reason. Racial remarks, or slang names for others
in some cases, and in historical records, at one time resulted
in all out war. What a thought War War Three starting like this.
Thanks to our evolution... WE are all passed this stage...so would
it not be nice just to get to the next.
Also in GAMES but I noted posted under another @WW ... was the mention
of Political Comment of another's country, and mention made of the
Nameless Ham in UK, who made these comments, quoting the sites
maintained by that country's government information organization,
and then of course his comments of then PM whats his name, but
then those who support him would hail the comments as informative
and those who didn't like him ...well the opposing view.
Look at the World Political Society, as they now declare this or that
popular leader a criminal or advise them to forget another term,
but no one says BOO.
WE all have a hate love relationship with the polictians in our country
and others, and ...well they are public figures and International ones
too, so they are open to anyone to comment about.
WE all live in countrys too where we hate the laws we live under and
then how to ammed them, and cry foul because there are safe guards to
getting major amendments. I see this at grass roots attneding
town council, and how I am amazed that the elected Major and council
that make decisions based upon our input etc....must go to career
department heads etc... to see if it is "ok". Some un-elected
clerk or whatever....says YES or NO to the majority based upon this
or that, or some rules formulated by someone else who does not live
here etc ...and it seems this is also as we go thru the building
blocks of stages of the Government Industry to International and
International Laws... to be governed by someone getting something
passed internaltionally ..WE all have to abide by.
GAMES people play ... aaah the list goes on and on ... lots to go
into here, but lets clear the air a bit, as the nameless Ham in
the UK is David, and "ok" some lengthy long bulls, but
he does quote the source, and the source is the government website
of that country. Not hearsay of a journalist for a story or a
non-supporter ... the comments about a leader...well ... given
the name... I remember when the Canadian PM told him to get out
too ... so he had run his terms out and was stale...like it or not.
