Hi Bob.

I noticed a while back that a lot of people were leaving this area and
Britain as a whole. Very few go to the EU due to the British reluctance to
learn another language. Some of them told me that one of the reasons they
were leaving was the stupid government rules which make it illegal to use
certain words i.e. non PC ones.

The trouble is, the commonest destinations are Australia,NZ and Canada -
OW!

Official statistics said that over 6 million had left in the first 5 years
of this century. Much the same happened at the start of the 20th century.
Then the reasons given were class snobbery and starvation wages. Back then
the main destination was the USA, usually working a passage.

Here, according to the late G4EBT, using words like 'negro' or 'nigger'
can lead to a UKP 5,000 fine; and David did know his (Bristish) law.

America is strange, never mind the 1st Amendment, they mustn't use the 'N'
word.
