Hi Pete and WW2 TV show buffs,
I couldn't figure out just who that familiar Nazi Colonel in Combat was,
too many names! Being the longest running show of that genre they're
legion and include many familiars. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055666/fullcredits#cast
Oh and just in case you're interested a few also appeared in Rat Patrol.

For what it's worth mine was but one of many pirate stations in the
NYC/NNJ metro area back in the golden age of rampant radio, I'll bet a
Google search will turn up a few of the wilder and more daring ones
particularly from Brooklyn, a town whose very name speakes volumes. Yup,
they were great listening, the best music and live entertainment on the
air. The UK is famous for it's pirates although only the big time
operations went down in history by name, ships mostly while the hard fact
of the matter is overall the pirates were and are still the more popular
and "rightfully" so being they provide the most diverse programming.
Yup, Benny Go Home Day was most successful and now aided by the weather
the town is back to its normal ~5,000 population. It's crappy as far as
beach weather goes, treacherous even, check out the radar here:

Type 08742 in the search box and you'll get a report and forecast.
You got Felix's signature line half right, next clue: scratch it. Darn,
the poodle left you clueless, look up the lyrics to Dirty Love to find
out what that nasty poodle do.
Hmmm, a star party aboard the U Boat eh? Is that whre she lies on her
back looking at the stars while you take notes?
