The use of what gives you a chuckle, are these automatic station
most I have checked are in the same location belonging to the same
licencee, seemingly sending email via Winlink to the other hand
but then they are supposed to belong to some ambulance or other
emergency service chasing club or organization. They start up
without even checking frequency. We had, as a top number of
9 doing this one day, and while funny to watch...well shows
again the mentality and well it is a nice observation of the
cross section of this "hobby".

If you have noticed, I stopped, as part of composing a message
text, stopped adding my home BBS. No deception, in fact and
looking at the config of VA3BAL and VE3LSR they are tied together
while their sites are many miles apart. VE3LSR I use when BAL
hangs, or goes dead, and they're still looking into it, and BTW
I still retrieve at BAL, and as a test, if WPs are all confused
ALL my messages Warren, do come here to BAL addressed to me,
and those on VE3LSR BBS also report that no confusion to WPs
that my address is still VA3BAL.
As for jumping thru hoops, I have already explained the problems
I have with VA3BAL and the sysop of VA3BAL knows them, and does
encourage me to use and report, which I do, later on at night
when all good hammies are in bed. Sampled day and night I
get this or that happening, but then I am not at the site,
so I can not follow up realtime to see where BAL quits...goes
dead..if a problem internal or external.
I also join G4APL on WCONV, to openly chat, about this and
other things, keyboard to keyboard. Why not join us?

OK ... back to the encouragement of real people using packet
and for those people with BBSes that are confused, please
just try SP my call and see if I ....poor old Pete have deceived
your BBS's WPs ... as if you read my SPs or SBs, I shall now
so no confusion outside CANADA, send my Home BBS address so
no confusion. If you have sent to me, and get an address of
VE3LSR...don't worry, it still has me listed at BAL... sent ASP.
