It is with regret that I heard yesterday of the death of Jack G4PKD on 2nd
October 2010.
Jack was a well repected member of the Amateur Radio Community and a
member of several Radio clubs, including the North Western Repeater Group,
where he served as Chairman for a number of years.
He was involved in creating a Morse Code class in the Accrington area in
1999 where he taught CW to many local amateurs including myself and this
is how I obtained the Class A callsign that year.
