GB1HYS will be on the air this weekend (Sat/Sun) to commemorate 100 Years
of Scouting from the Southport District Camp in Scarisbrick, Lancashire.
We will be operating on 2m, packet and whatever HF bands are available.
We'd appreciate any contacts and especially packet messages as we try and
promote the mode to our young licensed Scouts as a viable alternative
(yes you can send messages from the middle of the field without a
telephone line - hi) to t'internet (that's the Lancashire version of the
world wide web).
