Hi Danny and all,
We actually only have the Astra-2 channels (BBC, ITV, etc.) and for that
use a Vu+ Duo Satellite PVR. That one is Linux based like the Dreambox.
It does have a network connection, and recorded programs can be watched
over the network from the Vu+ Duo harddisk.
The only disadvantage for now is that it does not have 'the red button'
as is on a Sky box allowing access to additional info.
It has two DVB-S2 tuners, and we have it with a 1TB disk in it.
The Dreambox 8000HD has the option for two more additional tuners, like
a DVB-T or DVB-C tuner, and can have a DVD-R drive build in.
