Hello OM
Some users of my Sat_Explorer software have requested me to implement the
KCT tracking in the program.
Unfortunatly, I am unable to get detailed informations about this KCT
board.
It looks like that this KCT board is "ultra confidential" and that their
manufacturers do not like to pass infos about this board.
I have also tried to get a dll that controls this board under all OS
(Win95/98/NT/XP etc) but I could not find any that works whatever the computer.
If I could get the bus interface definition between this card and the ISA
bus, I would probabbly be able to write some code to control the board
...but no way to get this data.
So I resign ...
If anybody of you is a programmer and can write a program to control the
KCT board, I inform that the last release of Sat_Explorer 2.5 puts on a DDE
exchange every second the actual azimut, elevation, TX doppler shift, RX
doppler shift, TX uplink frequency and RX downlink frequency.
So, you will then satisfy those of you who want to associate Sat_Explorer
with a KCT remote-controler.
All the best and good traffic via satellite.
The last release of Sat_Explorer may be downloaded from F1ORL's web pages
