Doncha love those who try to wriggle out of it by changing the subject? 
(;->) Yeah, from dead ends to delays, HARUMPH! Satgate works RELIABLY 
which after all was the whole point.

You're 101% correct, you can't just jump in the water and not expect to 
drown, satellite operation is almost a science, if nothing else a very 
specialized form of Amateur Radio communications. I have seen several 
satellite stations in operation and while it LOOKED easy there was a lot 
more going on behind the scene. Keps and tracking are but two 
considerations, doppler shift is another, there is a whole lot involved 
with "bird song".

APATHY??? I got more than a chuckle out of that one! It's not for the 
timid, the apathetic don't even stand a chance.
