Hello Johan and readers.

Johan, ZR4LP, often asks about satellite orbit times and frequencies, and
wants help in packet replies. But most, or all, of Johan's questions are
answered in several bulletins from AMSAT, Weekly Satellite Report, etc.
All satellite news is regularly sent as packet bulletins, and orbit data
is sent as Keplarian Elements (Keps) by several ststions.

Maybe these are not getting to South Africa, in which case Johan should
send a question to AMSAT-SA man for comment. I would be interested in a
reply from anyone who doesn't see these satellite information bulletins.

On Johan's tower query, this is an engineering problem which his local
city council would be able to solve. It depends on local laws, and soil
and wind factors. We in Australia have a help line in our national Ham
organization, The Wireless Institute of Australia. Local laws vary from
one city, or state, to another.

73. Dick. VK3ABK.
