When asked about the status of SaudiSat1A Turki Al Saud responded,
"SaudiSat1-A is fine and has been used for some testing and will be put
back
into the service soon."  Continuing on, he also said, "SaudiSat1-B is
fine
but we still need it for some experiments, we hope to release it in the
future."
