Manned Amateur Radio Experiment
Hi everyone:
This week the crew on board the ISS will be changing.
Two new full time crew member, one tourist ($20
million rocket ride ticket) and two of the old crew
members will return home.
ISS Crew change:
New Crew Expedition 14, Arrive Sept 20, 2006
Commander Michael Lopez-Alegria KE5GTK
Flight Engineer Mikhail Tyurin RZ3FT
Visitor Anousheh Ansari
Mission duration, approximately 6 months
Old Crew Expedition 13
Commander Pavel Vinogradov RV3B
NASA Science Officer Jeff Williams KD5TVQ
European Space Agency Astronaut Thomas Reiter, DF4TR
On September 28, 2006 three members of the crew will
return to earth via a Soyuz spacecraft, this will
include Anousheh Ansari, Pavel Vinogradov and Jeff
Williams. European Space Agency Astronaut Thomas
Reiter will remain on board ISS.
ISS voice activity expected the week of September 21
-28 (Random)
Visitor Ansari has announced that she may be active
on the Amateur Radio station on ISS. She is planning
on a few pre scheduled school links and some random
contacts.
Frequencies
Worldwide downlink frequency 145.800 MHz
FM voice uplink 144.490 MHz in ITU Regions 2 and 3
(the Americas and the Pacific)
FM voice uplink 145.200 MHz in Region 1 (Europe,
Central Asia and Africa).
Ansari will be using the call sign RS0ISS

Slow Scan TV Status (SpaceCam1)

The SpaceCam1 SSTV system was last seen on August 26,
2006. At the present time, the SSTV and Packet
systems are temporally shutdown. There is no date on
when the crew will reactivate the equipment.
I have set up a new page to show many of the images we
have received. To date, I have 7 unique images from
ISS and many repeats. If you have new images; please
forward that image to Marex at:
