* HIGH SPEED PACKET MODEMS *
Still on the packet radio theme, Roger Cooke G3LDI takes a very in-depth
look at the high speed packet radio modem on offer from GMSK Data Products.
The modem, designed by Matt,G6WPJ and John,G8STW who are the SysOps of
GB7WPJ and GB7STW respectively and members of the Essex IP Group, has been
designed to operate at rates of up to 57,600 bits-per-second over radio and
is one option being studied in a bid to form new, high-speed backbone links.
