I had the same problem when I was playing around trying to get
Sally running. The same file. Possibly it was not present in the copy I
downloaded from the 'net. . Also for some reason, it would not recognise
that AGW was present. Could it be related? If I do attempt to get sally
running, it will be on a different machine than the one I use for Winpack.
I got into terrible strife last time, which left 3 7+ parts left to
send when the system died (no Winpack operation.) Somehow it screwed up
something, and even a removal of the program ((remove sally option) did
not restore.
This resulted in a complete reformat of the HD and reloading of OS,
Winpack & AGW. Still no operation; a REPLACEMENT hard drive was the only
cure.
Thus, although Sally is and appears to be a good program, I view it with
scepticism when running with other programs, in the light of the
unpleasant experience.
I didn't enquire further into why it wouldn't "see" AGW; maybe I should
try BPQ. If so, which version & setup info would help.
BUT, NOT on THIS machine!
Yours in cynicism,
