Hallo Bob,
Sally do all packet features AX25, TCPIP and obviously internet.
You must create the same scripts as you have in AX25 packet function.
But instead of connect a packet station you must telnet a internet station.
There are many samples in the scripts folder.
The follow script is a sample:
_____________________cut here___________________________________
;This is a sample script only!
;See the file Scripts.doc for full details of script commands.
; You will need to modify the expected responses to suit the
; nodes or BBS you are connecting to.
; Upper/lower case is not significant
; Set the script time-out to 300 seconds.
Set Timeout 300
; Abort the script if the connection should fail for any reason.
On Disconnect Abort
On Timeout Abort
; Tell the session not to disconnect when the script finishes.
On ScriptEnd StayConnected
; Instruct Sally to switch to telnet mode, and set up the
; appropriate telnet address and port.
; You can also use a host name (like mybbs.dyndns.org)
; instead of the dotted address
TelnetMode
TelnetAddress 158.152.237.250 ;gb7fcr
TelnetPort 6300
; Connect the script session to the host.
ConnectToHost
; Log on to the BBS.
; NOTE: The actual telnet log-on process will depend on the BBS, and it
; is most important that you get the log-in sequence correct!
WaitFor Callsign
Send .g8npf
WaitFor Password
send <your password here>
WaitForChevron
___________________________cut here_____________________________
Note that login has a (.) fullstop before the callsign g8npf (.g8npf). This is
because many internet BBSes need this statement to compact to transfer
messages.
This sample is for file gb9tel.alr to retrieve message via internet
If you add theese rows at the end of that file:
____________________________cut here_______________________
; Send PMS SID banner to tell the BBS to expect a forwarding session.
; FBB does not send a prompt after receiving the SID and just expects
; the PMS to send a forwarding proposal. NNA will send a > prompt first.
SendId
WaitForChevron ;Only required for NNA BBS or another Sally system
____________________________cut here_______________________
and save as gb9tel.fwd
you will have the the file to forward message via internet.
In the Configure / General Configuration 2 / Forwarding you must create an
entry for the internet BBS in the same way as the AX25 packet BBS.
To exclude forwardind to one BBS put a ! in front the Name/ID in the first
column of the Forwarding window.
