Hi Reader

This message is primarily directed at Ted (Sally's Dad !), but others may be
able to provide an answer.

I normally run Sally(3) with two windows open 1/ monitor and 2/ autolist.

The autolist window runs with the lowest number at the top of window.
Therefore, as messages arrive, it is necessary for me to scroll down to see
the last (highest message number) message in. It works fine, accepting this
irritation.

I recently tried using highest number at the top, since I don't need to
scroll as it automatically puts the last message at the top - this too
worked ok. However, with this setting at purge time, Sally purged the wrong
messages (and left the numerically and chronologically older messages on the
remaining list). Less than ideal.
As far as I can recall, the date field was the default sort field (?). Would
this make any difference ?

Q/ Is this what you expect - or is Sally playing silly fools with me ?
