HI Sally Fans,
the fertile mind of Ted G8NPF never stops to improve the program, and,
having noticed that the huge acronyms file takes some time to load, so he
has been experimenting with storing the acronyms in the main database.
This means they will be loaded only once, and then will not need to be
reloaded every time Sally starts the unless an acronym file is modified or
Replaced, and its changes dates.
However this does increase the size of the database. In this case it goes
from about 90MB to 250MB.
This may cause a delay when Sally closes whilst the database is compacted
and a backup made.
There is an OPTION in version 56 to enable this in the Settings window.
When Ted makes this version available (maybe tomorrow), please try it and
see what you think.
Considering that there is an option, everyone can activate the acronyms
always or only when needed, and program functions is better to have them on
line, rather than search for them with extensions or plugins.
