Yeah! Tell me about it, Ray! I have a lady comes in and cleans the gouse
every couple of weeks. She was cleaning at the back of the gas stoce which
has electric ignition and a clock and timer, etc. when there was a flash
and the power went off. Circuit breaker? Checked and it had tripped. Got
electrician in and he found that a rat had eaten away the insulation off
the wiring at the back of the stove and when the cleaner had moved the
wiring while cleaner it had shorted. She was lucky she did not get a
shock.
My place is on the edge of a large nature reserve and occasionally a bush
rat will come into the house. I keep a saucer of Ratsac hidden away under
a cupboard which usually controls the pests. Now frogs I don't mind, but
rats??
Cheers,
Bob VK6BE.
