Enjoy the triumph, David. The troops are regrouping already.
I did not hear of any "Pom bashing" here but then Rugby is played very
seriously in only two Australian states (NSW and Queensland) plus New
Zealand.The other states have a team but in them there is nowhere near the
following that OZ rules has.
Also in fact some of the Australian rugby team are ex patriot New
Zealanders where the game has a very strong following..
When it comes to cricket I always recognized healthy rivalry between the
two countries with mnay Australian test and state players wintering in the
English Cricket county competitions. Relations between the two countries
can't be all that bad if that can occur.
PS: Don't believe all you hear on Foxtel. The paparazzi are alive and
well in OZ.
